I was feeling so excited because we were very close to going to the theme parks on the Gold Coast. I had been looking forward to this week the whole trip and I was just about to explode like a volcano.
The first day we went to Wet n’ Wild. Wet and wild was very fun and the first ride I went on was the eight lane racer. The eight lane racer was a speed race and had some bumps to go over. I came last out of Dad and Jordan, because I was the lightest. Dad came first as he was heaviest and the heaviest person drops faster because of gravity. The others went on the aqua loop, but I couldn’t because I wasn’t heavy enough. I was disappointed to miss out because it looked fun. My favourite ride at Wet n’ Wild was the Mach 5. It had 5 slides, three fast ones in the middle and two windy ones on the outside. I tried the windy one and the jet stream. I liked the jet stream one the best because it was faster. I think Wet n’ Wild was great it was like what I expected.
The next day we went to Movieworld. The first ride we went on was the Batwing. Miriam and I didn’t do it the first time and watched mum, dad, Jordan and Emily. They looked like they were having lots of fun, after watching them I decided it would be nice for me to have a turn. I got the courage to go on the ride when we came back the next time. I went on the Scooby Do Spooky Coaster with Dad, Jordan and Emily. I was a little nervous a first, but it was a fun ride in the end. I also liked the Wild West Falls ride, because you move along the water through a little town and then you fall down a steep ramp and get wet at the end. I had a photo taken with Bugs Bunny, Batman, Martin Martian, Sylvester and Daffy Duck. I liked the Main Street because it had buildings that looked like they were from a movie. Movie world was exciting and I felt really pumped up and exploding with fun and happiness at the end of the day. Awesome!
The next day we went to Dreamworld and the first ride we tried was the Thunder River Rapid Ride. That was OK. Next we went on the Motor Coaster, I went in a side car with Dad. It was Awesome! I thought next time I would go on my own motor bike. My favourite ride at Dreamworld was the Cyclone Roller Coaster. At first I was a bit scared and Jordan, Emily and Dad tried it without me. Then I wanted to give it a go even though I felt nervous. It was so cool. I loved it. We had lunch at the Billabong All You Can Eat, I loved it and I filled myself up. Mum and Dad were amazed because I am always hungry and never full. Next it was photo time and I got a photo with Sponge Bob and Patrick. I thought Dreamworld was better than Movie World because it had more rides that I enjoyed.
At the end of the week we went to Seaworld for a more relaxing day. At seaworld it was mostly about animals and sea creatures, but it did have a few rides. We tried the Jet Rescue and the Sea Viper. They were fantastic. One of the shows that we watched was the Dolphin and the Seal show. I thought they were really good. My favourite Dolphin trick was when the trainer went surfing on two Dolphins backs. The Seals were very smart and funny. They were in a Seal Detective show. Seaworld was different to the other theme parks because it was more about animals, not rides, but I still thought it was OK.
The last, but not least, was White Water World. It was similar to Wet n’ Wild. The rides that was different was the Rippers, the Temple of Huey, and the Hydro Coaster. My favourite one was the Big Rip. In the Big Rip you need a four seater tube and you go down and around and around. It was like a big funnel. I felt a bit nervous and my tummy had butterflies.
I thought the theme parks were awesome and I wish I could go again. It was disappointing leaving the Gold Coast.
