Week 14 Highlights

We arrived in Valla Beach, did our regular setting up jobs and then we asked dad if we could do some fishing. There was a river and beach close by, with a great walking bridge across the river. This was where we decided to have a go at catching some fish. We caught nothing! I was very disappointed that we didn’t get any fish but I was still hopeful that we would get some one day.

The caravan park was pretty nice with lots of grass to play cricket and footy. It wasn’t that busy so Jordan and I could run and play as much as we liked. We even convinced the girls to have a water gun fight. I think it’s great having my big brother to play with we have really been getting on well together.

There was a shop at the caravan park and I liked going there to get a newspaper for dad every morning. I think that dad liked it too!

After Valla beach we drove into Queensland and stayed near Kirra Beach. Mum said she was impressed with our patience on the long trip and we could choose an activity which would cost around $10 each. So Jordan, Emily, Miriam and I had a discussion about different ideas of things to do. Some of the ideas were too expensive, some Jordan liked but we didn’t, eventually we found that Timezone was the best. It was the right price and everyone liked the choice. At Timezone we got a family value deal and there was a lot of games to do. My favourite was a car racing game. I scored 85 points to spend at the Timezone prize shop. It was a very fun afternoon.
