Week 9

This week we drove to a place called Cygnet. We were driving up a hill to visit some cheese places and a winery when a terrible thing happened. We broke down. Luckily we broke down near a house with some very friendly and nice people called Ruth and Fintan. They offered us help and rang some friends to help us. Then Ruth drove Mum, Emily, Miriam and me home. Then we were stuck in Cygnet without our car for a week.

I didn’t mind being stuck, because we were near a footy oval and Jordan and I found a football and played footy every day. I also made a friend called Marley and we played every day. We walked into town a lot and went to Church there. We went to the Red Velvet Lounge a lot and had Hot chocolates and brownies. I loved the brownies they were delicious.

On Wednesday we caught the bus to Hobart to pick up our car which was fixed. We stayed in a fancy warm apartment. I thought it was very nice and it had a TV so we watched lots of movies. It seemed very big after the caravan and we could swing our arms around without hitting stuff. I slept in a nice big bed with Jordan, but he didn’t like sharing and kept pushing me over.

    Hi Levi

I enjoyed reading more about your trip, the places you have been and the fun things you are doing..

The snotty trevalley fish sounds really gross.sounds – I am glad I was not there to try it. Has Dad cooked the bardy grubs yet? They sound almost as gross as the snotty fish. Stick with the chocolates and cheeses – they are much yummier.

losts of love from Grandma and Grandad.
