Most of this week, from Friday to Wednesday, we were pretty much stuck in Cygnet so we did our best to remedy the awkward situation. On Saturday, Mum and Dad went to the Red Velvet Lounge for dinner while Jordan and I baby sat. Each day we would go to the butcher and find something exquisite for dinner. One time we even had rabbit (cooked on the Weber, of course). Mum had discovered that a storm was going to be heading towards Cygnet and frankly we didn’t want to be there so Mum organized for us to stay in a lovely 3 bedroom apartment for two nights while our car was getting fixed.
Finally, the day arrived when we had scheduled to be shipped of on a bus to Hobart to stay in the apartment. I was so glad to be living in a bigger space and we now had our car back. What more could you ask for?
After our few days enjoying Hobart we packed our belongings and headed back to Cygnet. Fortunately the caravan hadn’t toppled over during the storm and everything things was fandy-dandy.

Hi Emily
Your journal is amazing – you write almost as much as you talk! Just kidding – lots of interesting things to read.
Sounds like snow and chocolates at Cadburys were real winners for all of the Robinsons. Grandad and I also went to the chocolate factory in Tasmania a few years ago when we did a 2 week trip around Tassie – luckily the car we hired did’t break down.
You are so-o-o-o-o lucky to go on this trip instead of going to school.
lots of love from Grandma and Grandad.
