On Saturday morning we went to the Salamanca markets. It was cool there because they had some windmills there, we bought dad some presents for father’s day. It was raining a lot so mum bought me a rain poncho to wear.
On the way out of Hobart we went to the Cadbury factory. When we walked in the door they gave us a free whole block of dairy milk chocolate each. Then we watched a film about making chocolate. After at the shop I bought some crunchie chocolate blocks. They sell chocolate at the shop cheaper. For lunch in the car mum let us eat chocolate. Yummy!
We drove to a nice jetty to camp and we tried to catch some more fish. I made a fishing rod out of a big stick, a hook and some thread. Daddy, and Jordan caught some fish but I didn’t catch one. The next day we went to Port Arthur Historic Site, it was all about prison in the olden days. It was cool seeing the hand cuffs in the shop. I liked the tour he told us lots of information about convicts. Some of the convicts were whipped that didn’t sound nice. I tried on some leg irons they made it hard to walk except my feet could slip out. It would be nice to live there if you were a free person and not a convict, I liked the church there also.
