On Sunday it was my mummy’s birthday and tonight we were catching the ferry to Tasmania. We gave mummy some presents her favourite chocolate Lindt and a scarf, some ear rings and a book. We caught a tram to the beach and saw Luna Park, then we found a lovely cake shop and we all had a sweet treat. I had a yummy fruit tart.
Then we drove our car onto the ferry. It took a very long time to line up and get onto the boat. I liked the boat it was fantastic and uber big. I liked choosing my dinner at the buffet, and we also watched a movie called Treasure Island. I slept on the bottom bunk, it was rocking around a bit. I peeked under my bed and saw the life jacket.
The first place we stayed in Tasmania was Bridport. I liked it because every day we went down the beach to play and make sand castles and cubbies. We met a friendly man next to us called John. He liked fishing.
We drove along the coast and stayed near a beach. The boys went fishing but didn’t catch anything. We drove some more. Next we stayed in Hobart. It was raining a lot.
