Tim Burton: After catching the train, walking to Fed Square and looking around at all the Grand Final stuff we all walked over to the ACMI complex where they were holding a Tim Burton exhibition. We all went and had a look at all of Tim Burton’s Achievments and his work, for example there were displays of some of his pictures and drawings, there were short snipits of some of movies he created and many other things to do with Tim Burton. I liked the exhibition it was wacky, strange, unique and very dark, one of the many things I noticed was that there seemed to be scars on nearly everything of his. My favourite thing there would have to be the short movie called Vincent Malloy, which was about a kid who everyone thought was sweet and perfect but in actual fact he wishes he was an evil scientist. After looking around at everything we went had a peep in the gift shop then we left and continued looking around Melbourne.

Fed Square Grand Final Day: Finally the day had come, the whole reason we went south was here, it was AFL Grand Final day and we were in Melbourne to witness it. First off we caught the train into Melbourne, after arriving at Spencer Street Station we set off quickly down the busy streets of Melbourne towards Federation Square so we could get a good view of the game. We were lucky enough to get a great spot next some trees, after setting up all our gear we sat down and waited. Then some guy came out and started kicking footies into the crowd, so we droped everythig stood up and began jumping around like crazy trying to gain his attention, but sadly we were not victorious, not this time.

After some famous people like Matthew Lloyd and Brereton gave out some signatures, the game started. It was so epic, the sanity of the world rested on Saint Kilda but at the end of half time it didn’t look like they were going to do it. But then in the last quater the saints were coming back and they were looking like they could win it. Then it came down to the last five minutes which seemed like forever. Saints could do it then all of a sudden the siren went off, it was a draw, the first ever in AFL history, Boo! Although they drew I got one of the small footies in the end so it wasn’t to bad.
