Week 6

This week we stayed in Melbourne at the Sundowner Caravan Park. On Friday night we went to Etihad Stadium to watch Carlton and Geelong play footy. Carlton got thrashed but I liked it anyway, the stadium was very big and there were heaps of people there.

On Tuesday we drove to Mt Baw Baw to play in the snow. On the drive up the mountain it was very exciting to start seeing snow on the side of the road. At first there was only a little bit and then when we drove higher and higher there was more and more snow clumps until finally there was snow everywhere. I thought the snow was heaps fun and I went really fast on the toboggan. We threw snow balls at each other, which kind of hurt because the snow was harder than I expected. When I was on the toboggan going down the hill some ice flicked down my shirt and was really cold. Brrr! I actually started snowing when we were leaving which was so cold; I opened my mouth and tried to eat some.

Yay it was my birthday on Thursday. We went on the Puffin Billy steam train and had a picnic at the park. We saw a miniature train place which was exciting and I loved all the little details. You could even press some buttons to make things move on the display. I thought I would like to have a model train track in a shed when I get bigger. I thought Jordan should let me use his room for a model train, but he said no.
I wish all my friends at school a very good time, I miss you all, and tell Mrs King I had a good birthday dinner because we had Italian food at Alpino’s on Lygon St it was yummy. :-)
