This week we went to Geelong, of course that is where the Geelong cats come from, boo! We went to the oldest merry-go-round in Australia. When I woke up that morning I told Mummy I really wanted a Horsey Teddy. Mum told me that I would not find one. When we went the merry go round, there was my teddy waiting for me, so I bought it. When I got to have a turn on the merry go round it felt like I was riding a real horse. I loved it!
We were staying at a national park so they didn’t have any showers, because of that we went to the swimming pool. At the swimming pool I practiced my swimming lessons, so don’t worry everyone I’m still doing my swimming lessons. After I had a swim I went and had a shower. Mummy and Daddy decided to take us to Macdonald’s for a little treat. I got a Caramel Sundae.
On Tuesday we went to Sovereign Hill. Some of the favourite things I did were: Ride in a horse and carriage, go and see school kids in an 1850’s school, have our photos taken in olden day clothes, watch a street show with Lola Montez and I bought an umbrella.
