Mum and Dad decided to stay one more night at Streaky Bay, because it was such a nice place and was lovely and sunny. We went into town for a walk and when we came back we went to find some Razor fish. You have to look for Razor fish when the tide is out, it was really amazing walking on the bay when the water was out. We then went and got some oysters and I thought they were delicious.

On Sunday we stayed at Pildappa Rock which was awesome .We played hide and seek until it was dinner time. We had a courageous rouring fire that night and it was boiling hot.

On Monday we went to the Gawler Ranges. We had a picnic there and it was yummy .We found an old, and I mean it is very old, house. I went exploring the house and found dead mice in the bath tub. My sisters thought it was disgusting and they screamed!

We stopped for a little while in Port Augusta to do some food shopping there.

It took a long while to drive, but we finally arrived at Coober Pedy. It was an interesting place. On the way there it was raining, I was surprised by the rain because I thought it was normally sunny there. We then stopped at the old timers mine, which was all about opal mining in Coober Pedy. We got to go noodling for opal there, and I found some opal rocks. Noodling is the word they use to describe sorting the rocks and opals. We also got to sleep under ground in a cave, I liked it because it was warm and fun. My favourite thing was to go and buy some opal, that is what they mine for in Coober Pedy. Sorry to all the girls that asked me for gold and jewels, but I am keeping the opal for myself!
