Hey Everyone,

Last night we stayed at a roadhouse just a bit past Southern Cross. It was actually better than I imagined and was literally on the side of the road. At 10 am that morning we left the roadhouse to make our 4hr journey to Lake Ballard. The view from the car was amazing. The sides of the road were red dirt with green shrubs and perfect blue sky – it was immaculate. (Means perfect haha big word).

When we arrived we set up the caravan then went for a walk along the pristine salt lake. It was indescribable. Since it was late afternoon the sun was getting ready to go to bed, and the light from the sun was sparkling all over the scenery. It was like someone had cut the side of heaven open and let it flow through to our little world of beauty.

I’ve got to get going now. Miss you all back home in the magnificent Busselton. All tourists I recommend this small yet marvelous hometown of mine, and I will write to you Busseltonians when I get to Kalgoorlie. Bye xoxoxoxox
