Finally, the removal of debris, damaged parts and rubbish has subsided and we are now starting to add some value back to the van. The first step was spraying an acrylic etch over the whole van. In most places it wasn’t required but in others – especially the roof parts – bare metal was now showing so it seemed simpler to spray the whole van rather than look for spots.
This etch coat – one coat only – took less than a few hours to apply and instantly made a major difference.
